The Lord's Prayer (Kind Of)

Loving parent,

Ground of being,

Source of love,

in, above, below, and among us

Your holy hum echoes in our bones

Your current moves us towards justice, wholeness, and each other

Your values settle in us and rise up in action

Give us enough for this moment

Remind us we cannot hoard your abundance

Give us unhindered imagination

That your kingdom might take root in unexpected places

For the ways we make strangers of our neighbor, forgive us.

When our hearts become callous towards each other, soften us.

Breathe wonder into our complacency

Draw us toward one other in compassion

Gather us under your wing that we might rest in the cool of your shadow

Resurrect what has gone dormant

Remind us that yours is the way of rising

That it is Love that has held us

And Love that will hold

Yours is the praise that will echo forever and ever
